71 days down and 103 more days to go (my math skills are approximate, not exact). Whoa! Everyone says that the second half of the year goes by faster than the first half. I don't know if I believe that, because the first half went by very, VERY, VERY fast! I'm not ready for this year to be half-done let alone all the way done. I have so much to teach... I have so much to learn!!! I better get a move on it!
The 16 days of winter break went by fast. In fact, it was strange because I was so ready to come back to school after the 5 day weekend for Thanksgiving break, but today - the first day back from winter break - I was so not ready to be back at school! I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I got a sewing machine for Christmas and I just can't stop sewing things! I have the rest of this week to get started on some projects, then next week starts my second ACE class and the wedding is just 7 short months away (200 days to be exact)! I will be very overwhelmed for the next half a year and I don't think I'm prepared.
